I stole the tune of 'Shortnin' Bread' for this fun song about what clothes to wear for different types of winter weather. Children will love the idiom and the song could be a starting point for many other musical and non musical activities. Why not use the concept of layers of clothes to illustrate the concept of crescendo in music with the children playing their instruments one after the other and keeping playing to create music that gets louder and then vice versa to illustrate diminuendo. I wrote it for the nursery at St Joe's and their topic entitled 'Winter Woollies.'
