A song inspired by Grieg's 'In the Hall of the Mountain King' written for a year 5 class and their topic on Vikings. The children loved listening to the original music from the Peer Gynt Suite and learning about Grieg and the Norwegian connection. They really emabraced the song, performing it with great gusto and went on to compose music which characterised Viking gods and goddesses. Hope your children love it as much as mine did.
