This was written for a Year 3 class at St Joseph's School and their topic on 'Extreme Weather.' Using some personification the lyrics are informative and the relentless 6/8 rhythms of the melody and accompaniment help create an atmosphere of panic and impending doom. This song would be a great introduction to work on compound time and dynamics as the children explore intruments and try to create their own 'Tsunami Music.'
