An Easter Play for children with a difference. The background to and the events leading to the death and resurrection of Jesus are presented in this play as a series of tableaux representing the colour page supplement to the newspaper 'The Easter Times.' Through song, dance and sometimes humour the children learn about the origins of the Passover Celebrations and the plight of soldiers doing their job in occupied territory right through to the people who were 'Witnesses at the Cross' and the joyous resurrection. The songs are catchy with opportunities for solo singing, dance and part singing and the script is written in such a way that there are plenty of speaking parts to ensure that every child feels valued and involved.
