Compound Time is always a difficult concept to teach small children but hopefully this cheerful song will help. Children tap out the six beat pattern in the verse then feel the two beat pulse in the chorus along with the crotchet, quaver pattern in their skipping. Children will love all the actions and not even realise they are learning something extremely complex!
