A thoughtful hymn which could be sung during the offertory at Mass or on Maundy Thursday. The lyrics remind us all of the connection between the last passover meal Jesus shared with his disciples and our Eucharistic celebrations. We are reminded of the great sacrifice Jesus made for us all and how like him we should strive to do our best and serve our fellow human beings during our time on earth. There is an optional harmony in the chorus but the song could stand alone in unison also as a congregational hymn or in a school assembly or Mass.
