Here's a little ditty written for a Year 2 class and their topic of 'Nocturnal Animals.' It seemed a good idea to highlight the loss of the hedgehog habitat and how we can help 'Save the Hedgehog' at the same time as learning about the nocturnal activities of our cute prickly friends. Have fun creating accompaniments to the song and why not improvise some music in 'Ternary Form' depicting a hedgehog asleep in the day, awake and foraging at night then asleep again?
