This song was written for a KS1 class and their topic on 'Rainforests.' As well as being good fun to sing the children learned the names of some of the animlas of the rainforest, the layers of the rainforest and it also prompted discussion about the need to save our rainforests. My children accompanimed the song with classroom instruments creating ostinatos in groups and painted musical pictures of the different animals. This song woud be great for an end of topic assembly.
