This lovely little song packed full of facts about the peacock bird was inspired by a peacock that kept visiting our garden over the summer. Our grandson Harry was completely fascinated by it and when it shed its train feathers at the end of the season we collected them all and gave them to him. Some were over a metre long. I have to attribute the line 'The most beautiful bird I've seen' to 6 year old Harry. This song would be a great addition to topics on 'India' or 'Animals and Birds.'
