The teachers are in a panic! It's only nine days until the end of term and they have run out of time to produce a Nativity Play. So to get the true meaning of Christmas across to the children they decide to retell the story by acting and singing one of the main parts of the Nativity Story each day before the school breaks up. A recurring song with actions links the story line along with narrators performing rhyming couplets. The simple dialogue and songs in a variety of styles are engaging and easy to learn with plenty of opportunites for actions and dance. The parents/audience to get involved too with a sing-a-long sheet for the recurring song.
