Written as an additional solo opportunity to add to the amazing 'Edith's Wartime Scrapbook' written by Mick Riddell and published by 'Edgy Productions'. (I highly recommend this as an end of term production.) The song works well as a KS2 resources for a topic on 'War.' Extended activities include creating pieces of music based on a melodic ostinato and creating the lyrics and music for original songs or raps around the topic.
