Here's another 'Pet' song I've written for the reception class at St Joseph's. Whilst the music is quite jolly there is a serious side to this song.The lyrics stress the resposibility attached to looking after a pet and will hopefully make the children think. Why not create instrumental accompaniments and actions to the song with your children? If you're feeling really adventurous, slpit the children into two groups in the verse to create a 'Call and Response' song with one groups singing 'Who'll clean the cage out?' and the other replying 'We will, we will!' Whatever you do with the song I hope you enjoy it!
