I wrote this song for a Year 2 class and their topic of 'Towers, Tunnels and Turrets!' I know that it is probably not very poitically correct to have a woman relying on a Knight to rescue her but it ties in with the tradional stories I grew up with which still do have value today. Why not invite your children to suggest actions for the verses and then accompany the chorus with a suitably heroic sounding beat? I'm looking forward to introducing my Year 2 group to this song, I think they will love it.
