I used the tune of the well known children's song 'If You're Happy and You Know It' for this little hymn about Jesus going into the desert for forty days and nights. The children I taught loved this song which I have recently edited slightly and it helped them understand what the period of Lent is all about. I included actions for the words at the end of each line and you could get the children to shout the end of the line rather than sing it which they always love. Hope this proves to be valuable addition to your Primary School Music Resources.
