This song was inspired by the excitement of the Year 2 children in St Joseph's school as they witnessed the life cycle of a frog in a tank in their classroom. The song lyrics explain the metamorphisis from egg to frog and the children loved the rhythmic melody of the chorus. As well as accompanying the song why not let the children depict each stage of the life cycle musically in groups then create a class composition with the chorus of the song linking each groups performance?
