An Easter Play with a difference taking the form of a series of tableaux portraying the Easter Story introduced by super cool 'rappers' who put the scenes in context. The story is further explained by the main characters along with relevant songs, actions and dances.
The musical play is designed to be performed by LKS2 classes with the older children taking the main roles but there is plenty of action for everyone in 'Easter Story Road to Glory.'
There are two original songs in this play and the others are taking from the funkeemusic 'Easter Musical Play' portfolio as I simply ran out of time last year to write 13 new songs.
Both Holy Family Catholic Primary School in WGC and St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Hertford gave incredible performances of this play last year and it was enjoyed by audiences, children and teachers. Hope you like it :)
