This little song was written for an E.Y.F.S class to link with their 'Space' topic. I used the song as a starting point for the children creating their own 'Blast Off' music in Binary Form i.e. counting down from 10 then exploding with their instruments, contrasting with quiet, gravity defying space music. We also listened to and watched the moon landing footage which accompanies 'Vangelis - Mare Tranquillitatis' via Youtube where the synthesised sound always fascinates children.
