I wrote the lryics to this Ascension Day Hymn way back in 2018 and we sang it to the tune of Jeff Buckley's 'Alleluia.' It sounded amazing but obviously I cannot use that song on my website as it is copyright so in order to add the song to my 'Sing a Seasonal Sacred Song' book which will be available soon I have changed the melody and a few lyrics in the chorus. I was anxious about doing this as the lyrics fitted so perfectly with the Jeff Buckley version but I'm really pleased with the result. Hope you like it too.
