Just as Mary and Joseph went on a journey to Bethlehem before the first Christmas Day, during Advent we prepare ourselves for Christmas on our own Advent Journeys. The signposts in this Advent Service help us to think about the real meaning of Advent and Christmas and how we can prepare spiritually for the joy of Christmas Day and the birth of the Son of God. The children at St Joseph's RC Primary performed this service beautifully last year.
