Hope you like this new 'Name Game' song. I am notorious for not remembering children's names. In my defence when you work in multiple schools and only see your class once a week or fortnight or half an hour it is very difficult to recall names. I have made slight changes to my scientific 'Materials Song' for KS2 to make it easier to sing by adding in a couple of 6/4 bars. The current Year 5 class at Abel Smith thoroughly enjoyed singing this song last term and creating ostinato accompaniments as part of their science topic on 'Materials.' We then went onto explore the materials that musical instruments were made of and created orcehstral instrument raps. Great fun was had by all. read more
