Ice-Cream, Ice-Cream

This sweet song (no pun intended) tries to conjure up the excitement we used to feel as children when the ice-cream van came down our street. The verses mention different types of ice-cream and ice lollies while the melody of the chorus is intended to represent the chime or jingle of the ice-cream van heralding its arrival. Why not include actions for the song (the children are always very good at thinking up actions too) and practise instrumental work by asking the children to create their own ice-cream van jingles? Have fun with this new summery song!
