What Do We Know About The Anglo Saxons

Using the tunes of 'What Shall We Do With The Drunken Sailor' and 'Oh Sinner Man' I wrote the lyrics for this song during lockdown for a Year 4 Class at Holy Family School. It is packed full of information about the Anglo Saxons so when we performed it live, I split my class into two, each group singing one line after the other for clarity and it worked really well. The children enjoyed the harmony of the  'Partner Song' element during the last chorus and of course shouting out 'ANGLO SAXONS' at the end. It's a great addition to your history curriculum where children can learn historical facts whilst having fun and singing.
