Songs to enhance learning in other subjects.

It was always my dream that class teachers used my funkee music songs to aid learning in other subjects, but as anyone who has worked in a school knows... teachers are under such pressure to get results that this rarely happened. In the days when schools did assemblies regularly some of my songs featured and occasionally nowadays at end of topic celebrations a song is squeezed in, but wouldn't it be wonderful if every new topic was introduced with a song?  In KS1 it is easier to use music as the songs are shorter and littlies still love singing.
