I am an Early Years teacher and have the great fortune to work with Sally Kee, our music teacher. Not only has she written a school song, Nativities for F/S and KS1, an Advent Service and two Easter plays for KS2 (all of which are of a very high standard) but she writes original songs for special occasions and themes throughout the school year e.g. 'A Song for Mary' (written for our May Procession),'Beginning of Term Song' (linking with our topic on new beginnings) and two fantastic Chinese New Year songs to name but a few. I would highly recommend Sally's music. The children and staff really enjoy our music sessions and parents and visitors always comment on the high quality of music in the school.

Sally very kindly wrote a song about 'The Force of God's Love' for our Year 2 Science Assembly about 'Forces.' It was a fantastic way to finish off our assembly and link everything to God and the power of his love for us all. Thank you Sally.

Sally wrote the scripts and wonderful music which the children related to for the KS1 Christmas and KS2 Easter Plays at our school. The children could often be found singing the songs on the coaches going on trips and in the playground long after the plays had been performed. Sally was able to support the teachers to help them produce the effect she hoped for. Parents all loved the productions as well as the end of term choir performances where the school hall was always packed. Sally is very talented and even wrote our school song based on the mission statement. Sally's musical productions could work in the West End.

The Easter Times' was a brilliant show that really enabled the children to develop their knowledge of the Easter Story as well as show off their talents and teamwork as two classes. I really enjoyed 'The Easter Times' and how it was our own Easter Newspaper in the form of a show! 'Easter Roles and Rocks' certainly allowed the children to 'Rock and Roll!' The story line was excellent and every child loved the show.

I've used the brilliant 'Barmy Roman Army' song in several class assemblies. The children have all loved performing it, and often children further up the school will remind me \"Do you remember when we sang about the Romans?\" 'Sounds Like a Nativity' has probably been my favourite nativity we've done. The songs are a great mix of joyful and poignant. One of the things I love about Sally's nativities is that so much thought goes in to performing them with a whole class, so there is always something worthwhile for everyone to do to feel part of it, as well as opportunity for solos for the singing stars. The nativities reflect the true meaning of Christmas in a celebratory way that is accessible to the children. Sally Kee is absolutely fabulous!

We had the great privilege of showing our F.S. production of 'Song and Rhyme at Christmas Time' and our KS1 production of 'Sounds like a Nativity.' For once we were able to show plays which truly reflected the Catholic stance. The music and script were really sensitive to the needs of a Catholic school. I applaud all you have done to bring our faith alive through music and drama, Thank you.

Dear Mrs Kee, I wanted to write a brief note to say thank you for writing such a wonderful Catholic Easter performance. It was wonderful to see the children enjoying their rehearsals but this was nothing to how they performed on the day. The music really brought the children together sharing a production which truly reflected our Catholic mission. Thank you. I look forward to more of your wonderful plays.

Sally is an extremely talented school music teacher and inspires the children to have a passion for music lessons, singing, concerts and school plays. Being a Catholic school, we have regular hymn practice which Sally runs and it has helped us to deliver wonderful soulful hymns during masses and other religious services. The parents are constantly amazed by her talents too and cannot believe that Sally wrote the KS1 and KS1 Christmas and Easter plays! She is enthusiastic during choir practice, teaches with vitality and zealous flair. She was an absolutely reassuring and delightful person to work with during the year 5/6 end of year performance constantly re-writing, editing, and improving the scripts, actions and songs. Such fun! She goes above and beyond what is asked of her and should have her own shows in Leicester Square! We love having her in school and could not do without her. Thank you Sally! X

Mrs Sally Kee has been a fantastic songwriter for Holy Family School, she has written songs for assemblies, linking with topics. Sally has written a song for the whole school to sing for the 40th celebration, which children still sing for our school! Sally is great with words and music; she makes music fun for children.

The performance of 'Open the Door to your Heart' for our school carol service was stunning and received very many favourable comments from parents. The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part. It was a wonderfully joyful, yet prayerful occasion which encapsulated the joy and expectation of the season of Advent.

Thank you Sally for composing a wonderful song for our Foundation Stage class. 'The Boogie Woogie Pet Shop' was perfect for our Pets topic. The children enjoyed making up actions for the song and even wrote a final verse about their class pet fish. The song has really captured the children's interest and they have been singing and performing your song during child initiated learning. Thank you once again.

With striking melodies, Sally brings us to an attentive openness to the age old events of Christmas and Easter, Our Christian knowledge and beliefs are opened up for us with drama, stirring music and a dash of humour. These pieces, written for children are child and adult leader friendly. There are new and varied twists causing us both smiles and serious thoughts. So, points to ponder for children and leaders. Parents also go away with serious levity. Enjoying the gentleness of music in the Sounds Like a Nativity musical I was pleased with the cohesion of songs and activities. It is an endearing piece with just enough sentimentality. The Easter Drama 'Easter Roles and Rocks' particularly drew me in with its educational and entertaining lyrics. Musically it keeps you alert and some words spoken and sung expound an edge of compassion. The compelling will of God sears its way through to the joyfully proclaimed end. The gentle but real interaction of Peter and Judas is handled well and thoughtfully. I would consider the Easter production for both primary and secondary schools. There would be no hesitation for me to use it within an adult/parish setting. It does indeed have 'Rocks and Roles' for all of us.

St Joseph's School Easter Production 2014 Sitting in the School Hall, I wait in anticipation to watch my fifth Easter production. I wonder how the famous Easter Story will be retold this time. Mrs Kee always breathes new life into her Easter (and Nativity) shows, enabling the children to really get to know the people who lived in Jesus' time and to understand the events that they lived through. This year sees some children travelling back in time to the Holy Land. They witness the events of the final week of Jesus' life; Palm Sunday, the Last Supper, the garden of Gethsemane, the crucifixion of Christ and the resurrection of Christ. All are brought to life by the children. The children who travel on the time-train make thought-provoking comments about what they see. The elements of sadness are tempered with scenes of light-heartedness and catchy songs. The Easter story is portrayed in a way that educates the children. As for the audience, we revel in the children's acting, dancing and singing, whilst being reminded of the important themes of our Catholic faith. Louise Lear

Kaleidoscope of Christmas: A fabulous KS1 Christmas Play with a good range of characters and speaking parts for maximum class participation! Several solo opening verses in several songs enable many children to \"shine\" and have a special stage moment, followed by full on whole class or key stage chorus verses with actions. Sally wrote 'Will Shakespeare Rocks' as part of our Year 5/6 end of year performance. Quoted by many parents as being one of the best productions they've ever seen, this was undoubtedly helped by Sally's adaptations, including composing 'Will Shakespeare Rocks' and many other pieces for the show. Blessed Mary Christmas is a lovely gentle two-part carol perfect for KS2 children. The children enjoyed singing the 2nd part echoes quietly in the verses and then getting louder to allow the sustained descant to float beautifully over the chorus. I performed this with a very large choir at the Hertford, Ware and District Schools Carol services and again with just a class of children at Sacred Heart School in Ware - the carol worked well in both situations.

Told from the perspective of a Jewish family, Passover, Palms and Passion guides the children through the events of Holy Week in an engaging and memorable way. Our Year 3 and 4 children have been able to consider the motives and feelings of the different characters in the story. Their learning in class and understanding of Easter has undoubtedly benefitted from being able to live the story and share it with our school community. The script, cast list and backing tracks provided allowed the staff to painlessly teach the words and songs to the pupils. The children will remember this play for years to come!

Throughout my career I have worked on many school productions, but the quality of Mrs. Kee's scripts and songs are exceptional. Pupils are challenged at just the right level to ensure that all children can contribute, some can excel with solos, and complex harmonies are developed creating a stunning effect. The plays have humour and fun throughout, whilst including many biblical learning points and interesting historical facts. My classes have all enjoyed performing these plays and they have been a hit with parents. Thank you Mrs. Kee!

We recently worked with Sally Kee to produce our Easter production, using her script "Passover, Palms and Passion". Having worked with her in the past, we knew to expect a fantastic script, with beautiful, catchy songs, and we were not disappointed! With the help of Sally (something we could not be without), the play became and incredibly unique and exciting portrayal of the Easter story, enjoyed by teachers, parents and children alike. Thank you once again, Sally!

In Advent Signs and Symbols I particularly liked the way different Year groups had their own aspect of the Christmas Story to tell. The opportunity for the children to write and read their own reflections was effective because they thought spiritually about the themes in the service.

The Advent Service 'Advent Signs and Symbols' was well received by children parents and priest. It was very topical , relating to current world situations . I am a member of Kaleidos Ladies Choir and Sally is our wonderfully talented pianist. She plays for us on Monday morning practices and also for the many concerts we perform throughout the year. In December 2017, we were delighted when Sally introduced us to one of her latest compositions - 'Can you Hear Christmas Bells Ring?' We immediately loved it and it was, of course, included in our Christmas concert that year - much to the pleasure of our audience. A year later, our musical director Gabby Hanley asked the choir which carols we would like to sing in our 2018 Christmas concert. Unanimously, we shouted "Sally's carol"! It was a great hit once again with our audience and ... I'm not surprised. The carol has a beautiful melody which is very catchy and a joy to sing. It perfectly captures the spirit of the Christmas story in its verses and chorus and the words are beautifully crafted - sung in three parts. We very much look forward to singing it again in 2019. Thank you Sally for all you do and for this lovely carol which is my absolute favourite.

As music curriculum teacher for years 1-6 at Leverstock Green CE Primary School, I aim to deliver bespoke music lessons based around each class topic, so lesson planning is a time consuming and exacting task. This is where Fun-Kee-Music comes in and saves the day! Every song and activity is educational, inspiring, suitably age-related and FUN, and 'Needle and Thread' is no exception. Combining historical facts, a catchy tune, the opportunity to create a clapping game and also to perform a simple weaving in and out dance, this song delivers on every level. Year 2 performed this song as the finale of their Class Assembly to the delight of their proud parents. I cannot recommend Fun-Kee-Music enthusiastically enough. I promise you will not be disappointed!

I really was at my wits end trying to create engaging music lessons based on the class 'Iceland' topic, but this song answered my every need. The children themselves (years 3 & 4) were amazed at how many geological, geographical, historical and astronomical facts were included in this short song not to mention a touch of fauna and folklore as well. And the melody itself is so instantly pleasing to the ear and easy to learn. As mentioned in its blurb, this song can be the catalyst for so many other musical activities, incorporating the whole spectrum of national curriculum musical requirements. As music curriculum teacher for years 1-6 at Leverstock Green CE Primary School, I cannot recommend Fun-Kee-Music enthusiastically enough. Sally takes the hard work out of lesson preparation by delivering educational, inspiring, suitably age-related and fun activities on a plate. What's not to love?

Mary's Easter Story is written from the viewpoint of Mary (mother of Jesus), it was great to work with the children on this play and teach them a different perspective from the heartache of a mother and the pain that she went through receiving letters from her friends about Jesus' life. This is Sally Kee at her best, I wanted to teach my nursery children the Easter rap which was too hard. I contacted her and she wrote this one for us. The children really loved it especially as it involved using the claves. We sang the song for the parents who enjoyed it and the children were thrilled to share their performance skills and enjoyment. They remembered it well the following year when we sang it again. I will be using this song in our Liturgy group at Church next Easter.

One of my favourite songs by Sally, also one of the children's. The Chaplaincy team sang it in an Easter Assembly for the school and thoroughly enjoyed performing it. Leading up to the assembly the team so looked forward to our practice sessions. Two of the team used to rap the chorus to me whenever we met in the corridor, proving to me how much they loved it.
